LONG BEACH CLASSIC
What it is and Why we started it
The Long Beach Classic is more than just a race—it’s a celebration of community, local pride, and giving back! We’ve seen too many events lose their local roots as they grow, focusing more on corporate interests than the cities that host them. Not us. The Long Beach Classic is built for Long Beach, by Long Beach—where every mile supports the city, the people, and the spirit that makes this place special. This isn’t just a race—it’s a movement. Are you in?

A Running Legacy
Who is "A Running Legacy" or as most people know us "Legacy"? Legacy is the owner/operator of the Long Beach Classic started by Jason Bruton around 2019. Jason has been in Endurance Sports in almost every role imaginable since 2008, and is currently our main Race Director.
